This is Volume 6 of the amazing series of articles penned by Jack Mayfield that describe the life, history and people of Lafayette County, Mississippi and contains 106 articles. These first appeared in local publications and became "the stuff that legends are made of." The articles range from history to people and places; always with something of local color that revolves around Oxford or the University of Mississippi.
